Information on Casino Roulette Tables

The game of roulette is played at a roulette table that can accommodate up to eight people, some sitting and some standing. In many cases cases though the casino usually allows for more players to play depending on the different types of chips that are available whether these are colour or value chips.

The roulette table dimensions are usually : 96'' Long x 46' 'Wide x 30'' High

The roulette table consists of the actual table which is covered by an imprinted green felt that covers the entire table and the roulette wheel.  The imprint shows a grid of numbered sections that correspond to the numbers situated on the roulette wheel. This is called the table layout. This structure is considered as the modern day layout; however it dates back to 1842.

The table layout denotes the betting area, which it is divided in two sections; the inside section and the outside.
